| Act | Consumer Protection Act (“kuluttajansuojalaki” KSL) Act on Certain Powers of Consumer Protection Authorities (“Laki kuluttajansuojaviranomaisten eräistä toimivaltuuksista”) Some laws have already been amended to comply with the articles on the Omnibus Directive. For instance, Article 13 of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC), in respect of other than paragraph 3 (b), has been implemented by amending the Act on Certain Powers of Consumer Protection Authorities (“Laki kuluttajansuojaviranomaisten eräistä toimivaltuuksista”) (See C. VII.). |
| Status | The new rules will enter into force on 1 January 2023. |
| Penalties | The amount of the fine shall not exceed 4% of the turnover of the year before the end of the infringement. |
